I love that you stepped out of your comfort zone to post. That’s growth right there. In recovery, the stuff that feels uncomfortable is usually the stuff that moves us forward, and the part about spending time with your kid? That hit me. Being present is one of the greatest gifts sobriety gives us. No more chaos, no more being a “mess” just showing up. That’s priceless.
