To be honest, my stubbornness has turned out to be a very useful trait in sobriety, lol. When I left for rehab I promised my daughter that I would succeed on my first try at getting sober and never have another drink. So far my unwillingness to break that promise has trumped any triggers and temptations… meditation and solo wilderness excursions also help keep my mind clear.
