Oh wow, congratulations on that!! I needed an entire army of people to save me from myself...just like the T-Swift song says, "It's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me." That was my experience. I couldn't stop drinking/drugging. I was filled with self-pity and fueled by self-seeking motives. AA, and the 12 steps saved my life. You don't have to do any of this alone though, we do this together.
