I remember being on day 45 clean and was still sooo sick!! The struggle is real!!! I ended up going on Methadone to help and now I’m over a year clean and on 50 mg of Methadone I have no cravings & no dreams. Soon as I went on Methadone 25 mg I felt so much better it was crazy !!
Day 18. Got up and did a few things and I’m back home. My body is trying to keep up. I’m physically tired.
When all else fails help someone. I have found it very helpful.
I’m new to the area. This will be something for me to think about as I get to know others.
Sobriety is amazing but also a constant struggle, especially in the first few weeks and months. The 12 steps have given me freedom from those old feelings, however it is constant work. Stay strong friend.
Make sure you're eating well and take vitamin supplements, like complex and vitamin d. No fast food. Lots of water.
It’s like I can read them or listen to the words and I get so emotional. Different phrases trigger me. And right now I’m home a lot resting. Thanks for your thoughts and kind words.
Yes, you can contact a local church or community center and ask to volunteer. It doesn’t have to be recovery based. Anywhere we can be of service. It helps.
