Thanks for sharing. I m very thankful I never did opioids but I'm alcoholic and addict of marijuana. I'm almost 4 months sober. Alcoholic anonymous program and newroads sustained recovery and aftercare and therapy saved my life .

I'm proud to be drug free and alcohol free .I'm staying sober and not going back .one day at a time. It's a journey recovery but100 percent the effort
I have to stay connected to aa program and aftercare with newroads sustained recovery and therapy. It's a struggle but I'm doing it . I had to ask for help .it's the best thing I could of done for myself. I've been going to aa program since 2017
It's a disease but you can overcome it and get well .but recovery is never ending

I don’t believe your percentages on starting. People thought heroin was cool and snorting was ok. Chronic pain PTs are unaliving themselves. I used alcohol for pain. Heroin funded the war in Afghanistan. Kolodney is just a money grubber like Oxy makers. Stop the negative rhetoric. Pain meds can be life saving for some including me. I’d be drinking or dead without fentanyl patches and hydrocodone. Probably dead drunk.
