i don’t like aa meetings and saying straight edge is cooler than saying sober
Nothing beats an organic brain and naturally derived dopamine. Our brains and bodies have evolved into amazing machines capable of great things when we treat them with respect. Good health and fitness are the keys to longevity. You are building sober muscles. Keep it up.

If you drink coffee, you’re not straight edge..I find it relatively easy to be sober, but straight edge sounds hard.
There is no law which states that you can't drink coffee if you're straight edge.
Also being straight edge is more than just abstinence. It's a subculture with ties to music.
