It always helps me when I get the urge to pick up to think about the last day I drank and had to be admitted to detox. I'd much rather struggle through this 24 hours than to go through that pain again. Finding meeting nearby and staying connected is the way. Get to that meeting by whatever means necessary and raise your hand. You will find the help you're looking for. There are many great people in the fellowship. Stay strong.
Get to a meeting or two or three!
Take one day at a time. Keep your head up. Go to in-person or virtual meetings. Find a hobby you and your daughter can do.
Definitely get out and about, helps relieve the stress that comes with a bored little girl. I learned how to do acrylic and gel nails so that I'd have something to do with my daughter that she'd be interested in
If it helps.. ill share what i did early on in soberity.
Litterally just play the tape forward. Say you got the drink or drugs.. then what? You would be back to square one. Hungover, full of regret from poor decision making.
That logical thinking saved me
Jennifer, do you have a sponsor? Do you have a home group?

I’ve heard from professional professionals when you take something away you have to replace it with something. What have you replaced it with? That is healthy? Stay in community tries celebraterecovery.com and find a Group near you.
Hope today is ok.
You can do it. Just think of the hardship you have been through because of that monster addiction
