Finally another person from CT!! I just moved back here from VT after finishing in treatment up there. I knew I had no other choice if I want to succeed because all my triggers and paths leading to a probable relapse are up there. 20 years living up there was nice but who I eventually turned into…..not so much. So glad to come back and start getting the better old me back in familiar surroundings
Awesome. I had the same experience in early July and it was the best decision I ever made. Totally turned my path in life around. I hope it was an amazing experience for you!

I was where you are now 2 years ago. You're off to a good start. Connect with sober people as much as you can. It makes all the difference.
Got out of 1 about 1 month ago and now 48 days clean from drugs and alcohol so I'm right there with you. It's great being sober, for me it's the 1st time in about 30 yrs. Life is good, keep on keeping on. Reach out if you ever need someone to holler at.
