It gets easier.
I'm as alcoholic as anyone. I notice the liquor stores but it's not like I'm coming out of my skin anymore. I've been sober for almost 9 years now but if I remember correctly, it started getting a lot easier in the 1st year.

I used to avoid the liquor
aisle in the stores like the plague. Now I have found myself occasionally going down the liquor aisle without even hardly thinking about it.

It's just not for me anymore. For me it's all poison!

Can someone sit with me for 4 days

I Just saw this why do you need someone to sit with you

Because left to my own devices, I can’t stop drinking. The last time I was sober was when I lived with my Father for a bit. I need someone to account to.

If you can't stop on your own then you need treatment.
Why is it that you keep relapsing? Because you keep believing the big lie; That this time, everything will be OK. But it never is, is it?

We have to learn to play the scene forward. What happens if you drink? You may feel some relief for a very short period of time but sooner or later you're going to be right back where you are right now, carrying around more guilt, like you are right now knowing that you accomplished absolutely nothing.

This is called the insidious cycle of insanity. When you set out to stop on your own and you start getting cravings you could try taking some sweets. It seems to curb the cravings.

I highly recommend that you go to AA meetings and get yourself a support group outside of this app. You do this by finding people that have quality sobriety time and get phone numbers to call. I highly recommend 90 meetings in 90 days.

And I tell people that If you aren't willing to do this then you don't want sobriety that bad. You have to want this more than anything in the whole world and draw no lines when it comes to your willingness to stay sober.

We have to put as much effort into our recovery as we did into our drinking on a daily basis.

We have a question in AA that asks, What do you get when you get a horse thief sober?
A sober horse thief.

Drinking was but a symptom of our problem. We have to get down to causes and conditions. This is done through the 12 steps of AA.
It works for millions of people.

The problem with people today is they don't want to go beyond the keyboard on their phones. Phone apps are not a cure all. Loosid is great for some moral support but it is definitely not a solution!
