The phoenix is a sober support community. I forgot to mention that. Some activities do fellowship time afterwards
Have you tried Reframe? There is a great community there with online meetings and a ton of other stuff thatās helped me so much.
It takes courage to be honest. I found it too difficult to expose myself, I would just fade away. I hope your own acknowledge your courage and strength!
Chris I can totally relate to that I am working on this too.
Yea this is true
Hang In there
Thank you. That is perfect for me
I couldn't do it alone!
This might sound harsh..
āBe about it donāt talk about it.ā
Iāve seen countless individuals die or keep on as a miserable existence.
Whether you feel like you blew it is irrelevant.
Thereās plenty of solutions here, but it takes action.. half as much as it took to get that next drink pill or fix.
Reach out get connected chase recovery like you chased your drink pill or fix.
If it feels awkward.. oh well
Iām sure youāve been in awkward situations before.. this awkwardness will open doors to dreams and beautiful possibilities.
āSurrender to win!ā
I am feeling very alone, canāt get out of this mess
Call your Sponsor before the slip. In early recovery I prayed for the willingness to be willing. Wishing you the the best recovery.
Then you know Eva you can & will do better next time.. I'm 60 years old and I stopped counting of how many mistakes I made but I call them goals to better achievement in my life. God bless n good night later... Linda & my puppy Desi.
Thatās the truth, Iāve been clean and sober 13 years then I had surgery 3 times this last year , itās so hard really so true find some one that doesnāt use or drink itās way hard but can be done, number 2 you have to stay away from those who use and even family our mates if thatās what sparks it stay clear, mr sober now but itās do easy to get back into again scary
We all do this one day at a time. Do not pick up and go to a meeting. Youāre not alone as we have all been where you are and with a little help and focus you will stay sober. You can get better every day, even every minute, if you donāt pick up. If you do, one thing is for sure that it will not get better and for sure it will get worse. Take a deep breath and try and relax. Today youāre on your way to a sober life and that is what is most important. I am sober just over 10 years and life is pretty good. Sobriety gives me many things including a clear mind and physically not having to recover from alcohol . Life is not always perfect but I have a chance that today will be another great day with sobriety.
You do NOT have to do this alone! Keep coming back
there is no shame or judgment here
I would be letting me self down. Go to meetings.meet people .90 meetings in 90 days.get a sponsor.nothing will change. Aa
