Because we have more YEARS IN OUR DRINKING THAN OUR RECOVERY. it is a GREAT FEELING TO REALIZE THAT WE ACTUALLY CAN HAVE LONG TERM SOBRIETY ONE DAY AT A TIME. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE IM IN YEAR 36.
