I spend my free time talking to friends and working out and running. I simply have no time in my day for drinking even if I did want to

That's the addiction just trying to overcome you...now it's never a good idea to go out and I would just fill your schedule more

You have a lot of courage for putting yourself out there and that alone shows your strength and desire to beat this. Everything you listed is exactly what I would do.I have become more of a home body and trying to make everyday count. This sounds weird but try mediation at least once a day. I can’t began my day without doing at least a 10 min session. Helps me out a lot.

Kayla I just boss up hold it down and move forward it’s just a craving they come and go. Think about all the positive you’ve accomplished and thrive off that don’t make matters worse don’t fuel the fire do not give it any energy you got this shape up Queen

You

Books are good source to stay away from things also

Pour yourself a glass of orange juice and reach out to a sober friend

I feel the same way when I get too much free time.....I workout or ride my bike. It's not worth going out and drinking for me and in my experience I always regret it the next day and when I start drinking it doesn't stop. I will be drinking the next weekend or even the next day. Reach out to like minded people

I just drink pelligrino where there’s drinking but my other activities I just do sober now. Watch ball games, play golf, play my drums all sober is the only difference.

I focus on self improvement. Mental and physical. Reading and exercise have really pulled me together.

I use puzzles and tv. Always remember days are short and they pass. I focus on a totem that I use as a message that this will pass. I try to message with people on this app. If you’d like add me as a friend I’ll try and ask you dumb questions to distract you a bit
