Happy New Year to you. Unfortunately covid is hitting again and I know In my state it still isolation for 5 days. Happy sober new year my friend.

I did what I usually do on NYE; I stayed home, alone but sober. I like being alone anyway, but a Covid isolation somehow sounds kinda cool. It's 5 days afterall.

I was alone for Christmas, New Year’s.
December was horrible.
Attended two funerals and could not make another one due to the long distance.
I was by myself…each and every time I heard sad, depressing news.
I have been by myself for a few months now.
No one around.
While I did N O T drink and am approaching two years of sobriety in around two weeks…you have helped me to realize how proud I am of myself and I am proud of you too, Janelle…congratulations…and I wish you well!
Congratulations on choosing sobriety.
We all deserve it.
