It feels like day one for now reason, six years later. I can’t identify what triggered this. Maybe fatigue, frustration. I’m sober but it doesn’t feel good

Would you drink poison?
You’re stronger than this
It’s hard when it looks like a quick fix to life’s problems, and it’s hard to abstain and create a bunch of tools to hack away at life’s problems proactively: you ultimately have to choose your hard for yourself.
Rehab would telle to "play the tape forward".
It's also important to remember as an alcoholic it's not just one drink, or one night. One night for many of us could lead right back into full alcoholic and that should be encouraged to hopefully deter you.
Take care
Are you eating? Drinking water and normal drinks not alcohol.Getting rest. I’m a firm believer in rest..Taking care of yourself; it’s part of it.
f? I suck at it but I try.
I completely understand! The news and the state of the world can seem so hopeless and depressing sometimes. I heard once in from someone in AA that if we choose to drink over something, it will go away temporarily for the few hours we are drunk but then we will wake up and all of our problems will still be there and we will feel worse because we’ll be hung over! Nothing is worth putting poison into your body. You deserve to give to yourself, put good things in your body, take a bath, get into nature and connect with other sober people. We understand eachother and can help one another through the hard moments. I’m here if you need someone to talk to
Thank you so much
