Welcome Maya. I hope you are able to find someone else to attend meetings with. I dayed a girl who felt like this at one point years ago. I suggested she go anyway and she just went to the meetings and sat in her car till the meeting was about to begin and within a month or so she said she was comfortable enough with the group to go early and socialize a bit with everyone.
