Just keep going the past is in the past your still here and that's what counts:muscle:t6:

@crystal417893 What triggered your most recent relapse?
Are you working on any type of recovery program? If so which one.
I had almost 8 yrs clean and then after the deaths of 4 very important people in my life and a move back to my hometown had a two year relapse that ended me up in jail and then treatment. Now I'ma off to longer term residential aftercare treatment. Relapses can happen so fast. I beat myself up and still kind of am. But we can't let our relapses define our recovery. Sometimes relapse is part of it for whatever reason. I'm not sure what all your story entails but have you tried inpatient treatment? It can be an amazing thing. Plus hook you up with resources and aftercare and support groups. Its hard trust me I know but I want my sober life back more then anything in this world and I'm going to fight for it and do whatever I have to. I just did 27 days jail 30 inpatient treatment and am voluntarily going on to a 90 day program 3 hours from my people, places and things. If you want it fight for it. Your recovery has to come first everyday period over everything. I hate leaving my family and then only able to visit one day a month but if I'm not sober I'm no use to them no matter how close or far away. Relapse is ok and it happens I'm sad I let mine go so long and to where it did but it's what we do after we relapse. Do something different this time. I suggest inpatient treatment if at all possible
