Being sober each new guy has the possibility of being better than the last. You don't even have to date them. Just know what is good for you.
Have patience.
Think of a guy as a penny...if you say pass...cuz he might be unhealthy for your sobriety or emotional health....next guys a nickel... If he's not safe...pass next guys a dime...( Rely on God, your twelve steps groups and sponsor)
I'm holding out for a hundred dollar bill person. Not for money. It's a metaphor.
We are worth a good person who is able to be present honest kind and good for our lives and Sobriety...

Been there. It is painful initially but give it time and rely on your sober network. You are meant for more girl - I promise you that! The universe did you a favor. Happy birthday! It will get better. Just keep doing the next right thing.
