Boredom and being broke are triggers. I try to do something unusual. Maybe start a project I’ve been putting off. Clean out the garage, play in the the dirt or take a walk with the dog. Change your surroundings and you change your mood. If you can afford it, go to Starbucks or similar and buy yourself a fancy coffee.
In early sobriety I used to treat myself to fun food and such. I figured I would have been spending that money on booze so why not treat myself with something small like trying a new recipe or a new coffee drink!

You can go for a walk in the woods it’s free and it’s enjoyable to see nature in its fullness

Get off your bottom and go to a meeting. An alcoholic or an addict in his or her own company is in bad company. The best way to cure loneliness is to go to a meeting. The poor me’s lead to pour me another. One of the first I heard in AA many years was,”it’s easier to stay sober, the, it is to get sober.”
Music, walking, stretching, yoga, meditation or a good phone call with a friend...
