You may hear people here with a month, a year, 10 years. But the one thing is,,, EVERY single person started where you are. Day One. It will probably be miserable for the first week(s). Just hang in there. See a Dr (even the ER) if it gets too shitty. There are meds. It Will get better. Try some AA meetings. Go to a different one if you don't like the people. Different times, different places.

Look up Annie Grace!! She will help you get even further :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: I read her 1st book called This Naked Mind & it was VERY eye opening! I read her 2nd book called The Alcohol Experiment & it was also really enlightening. I didnā€™t even spend any money ā€¦ I just borrowed them for free from the library. I also downloaded her free app called This Naked Mind Companion app where there is a supportive community. Annie Grace also has a podcast & she answers readers questions for free on YouTube. She has a paid program called The PATH too, but you donā€™t have to do that ā€¦ just start with the books & app.
Trust me her methodology works!!! Good job on day one & good luck!! :purple_heart:
