Suggestions?

Would suggest you find a women’s only meeting. Most of the women I know in long term recovery attend women’s only meetings especially in early recovery. Having a solid network you can count on is key. A fellowship will grow around you. Lots of choices.

I am a member of both fellowships, AA and NA.

I found myself more at home in NA. Narcotics Anonymous focuses on the disease of addiction, more than any particular substance. This is what is important for me. Alcohol is a drug. And in order to stay clean I must abstain from all drugs.

Maybe you can give it another shot?

Smart Recovery meetings?

Some AA/NA meetings are way better than others.

Congrats on 6 months, that's huge. My 1st year was hell !! AA saved my life , I love what they stand for ,but like you, just didnt fit. I dabble still in meetings coming up on 7 yrs sober in Jan. But I found anxiety and depression therapy groups at my Church really helped to. I seemed to connect more. And that would be my advice. Keep looking for something or someone or group you feel connected to and just ride it
