I appreciate everyone’s well wishes. I hope there is something in my story that helps others on this site who are struggling. No matter your drug of choice: there is a solution for us alcoholics and addicts.

Reading your story reminded me of myself in my drinking days I was the life of the party ..the nightlife was my oxygen I couldn't go a night without being in the mix . I ruined alot in my past but after years of hearing I had and losing myself and people I love family friends and relationships I decided finally take the first step into recovery its the best decision I ever made some people call it a cult and boring life..I learned you don't need to be drunk or high which ive never done.. but alcohol as they say in AA a drug is a drug is a drug as they say in 12 step..ignorance is bliss..its all mind over matter..I am 15yrs clean and sober .and I pray everyday that it stays this way :pray:..I pray that you continue sobriety and congratulations on taking those first steps welcome to sober life. Take it one day at a time...keep coming back :pray:
