I hope your day gets better. For me those feeling would come and go and when I’d feel them start to creep in I’d do one of my new sober hobbies to combat that thinking. Whether it be a book, the gym, or diamond art I try to distract myself until it passes. I also think nature helps, hiking, going for a jog or even just walking your dog. If I try these things and still feel like that I reach out to my sober network and that helps too. I guess the point is to have different tools in your toolbox and use whichever ones you need when you need them and if one doesn’t work, go on to the next one. Just keep trying. You are worth it.
