It can be done.
I've had seven years sobriety before and 3 and 1/2 years sober but I never did step work or tried my best at tying into the recovery community and I stayed being me and eventually relapsed back into full time using that almost took my life. Everyone has what works for them but what I will say is that this time around I only have about five months but my experience is totally different. I'm not in sobriety I'm in recovery and it feels better and I owe that to fellowship and sponsors and people. Im no longer trying to do this alone. Lastly I want to say that I'm super happy and excited for u and your year and u should be very proud and happy for yourself! Congratulations!
Thanks so much Wyatt
Congratulations, a year is a big deal, no matter how you did it!
Congratulations....on the DL lol
You're so welcome Jillian!
Congratulations on ONE YEAR, Jillian! There's no "one way" to be successful in recovery. Do what works for you!
Thanks Jason
Haha thank you
Thanks Laura!! 🩵
Congrats!
Congratulations I myself have 2 years tomorrow. And I don't have a sponsor and I go to meetings. Every show often. But I do know that the desire to use or drink. Is not in my vocabulary anymore. I just continue to build my spirituality and do a lot of praying I'm just trying to do the next right thing day by day sounds like you're doing the same thing too. So don't give up, keep it going. Continue to be hungry for your sobriety. You are worth it and again, congratulations.
Great news!
Congrats on one year of continuous sobriety.
