Thanks for the love everyone! I’m not an AA/NA guy, but I don’t hold any ill will towards 12 step programs. They work for a lot of people, just not me. I’ve been through a lot of ups and downs in the past four years, but I’ve maintained my sobriety mainly because I’m unwilling to break the promise to my daughter (and myself) that I’d never drink alcohol again. Ironically the same stubbornness that kept me drinking for decades has served me well in sobriety. If anyone wants to talk or get my advice (for what it’s worth) send me a DM.
