Thank you
Good move. Stay strong. You got this.
Try and keep this feeling in mind. It's a lot easier going into a sober living than it is to stay there and as an adult, have another adult tell you what you can/can't do. Both times I went to rehab I felt ready to check out after a week or two.
Thankfully others talked some sense into me.
Hate to give honesty but at sober living you're gonna have adults telling you what to do. Best advice I can give is even if you don't understand or agree with house rules, follow them.
Amen! Glad you are addressing this disease that has control of you. You got this.
Thank you
It’s more like the others need to follow them.
It’s one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. No one said it’s easy but if you commit to it, it’ll be yours as well!
Best wishes on this new chapter!!!
I hope so
Thank you
Great plan!!! Also look up Annie Grace & her books. I borrowed This Naked Mind & The Alcohol Experiment from the library for free. I also downloaded the app for free & I watch her podcast sometimes. She answers reader’s questions on YouTube. It’s all for free if you don’t want to pay for her PATH program which is not free. She’s the BEST!!. Good luck
You're welcome
How's your new place?
Just turned 37 and admitted myself into detox. Got into a sober living with a great group of guys and felt more support than I have in my entire life but was kicked out over some BS (no relapse of anykind). So, now I’m back to searching. It was a terrifying choice, but I knew it was the best and right decision. So happy for you that you made the right call!
Thank you. And so happy you didn’t go backwards. Hope you find another home soon.
At first it was not good, but it’s coming along
Thank you!
