What’s one thing you used to take for granted but

The recovery journey open so many doors back to our ourselves. It's honestly one of the best gifts.

the mental clarity!

Waking up in the morning. Grateful to be alive!

Sometimes I take my sobriety for granted. I have to remember that I’m sober by the grace of God of my understanding and if I’m not active, I’m one drink away from a drunk

The love my ex husband has for me and will do anything for my well being because he just wants me clean not just for me but our kids too and I used to Use his love for me and manipulate him (even tho we been divorced 7 years) to get what I wanted from him to aid me in my addiction and get what I had to have to get high… we have a a wonderful relationship today we Co-Parent very well with our 5 year old daughter and I don’t ever ask him for help now unless I really really need it and it’s something really big but even today he’s there for me when I need him and he always will be and I’m grateful he never gave up on me getting clean and I’m grateful to have him still as a part of my life

The special, little moments I notice now that make life wonderful - I didn’t see any in the tunnel vision of addiction

Grateful for it all.

Waking up well rested, I just thought I'd slept well each night. Also, having communication with my girls. 2 yrs sober and I am still alienated due to my drinking.
