What’s your sober day count?

Day one for me. Starting over. Yet again. I keep struggling with relapse... for some dumb reason I can't seem to get it together.:smirk: But I'm hoping that by reaching out & joining communities like this, I'll be able to do it this time. :crossed_fingers:t2:

Because man, I'm so SO tired of going back to something that makes me miserable & has ruined my life.

12,830 days today, one at a time. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but AA, CA, and NA work if you’re willing to take simple suggestions

I couldn’t stop drinking until I reached a point where I would do anything. That meant getting into AA. That’s how I did it. I wanted to live and I had to drink the Koolaid. But once I surrendered and worked the program miracle happened. The obsession was lifted and I was able to work on my progress one day at a time. It is a better way of living. Lord knows I couldn’t do it by myself that’s for sure. Good luck. Get to a meeting. Do 90 and 90. What do you have to lose other than the shackles of dependency. Be free. It’s a blessing to be sober one day at a time. My God wants that from me. Be a good person and help the next struggling Alcoholic. You can do it. I believe.

I am so proud to be a member of AA and I’m pretty sure AA is proud to have me as a member. Today is my 8517 days clean and sober.
