In a meeting today a new comer was talking about just getting out of rehab and gonna get a sponsor. Then he said he was afraid the sponsor would asked him to do 90 in 90, then he said oh my god I haven't even got a sponsor yet and im already trying to control it. We all laughed with him as we future trip and can't just let go sometimes. Love ya'll

My grandson calling me today….
In conversation with a friend who immigrated from the Philippines to Canada in '87. I asked what the biggest shock was. She told me that people just drink tea socially. She said in the Philippines they typically drink tea when they have an upset tummy or are sick. She was so confused when neighbors were inviting her for tea she actually declined, saying, "I'm sorry, I'm not sick", lol 
everyone was terribly confused, but then the cultural differences were understood. It's so funny.

Seeing someone i watched come in totally lost pick up 3 months this morning. And that he thanked me for talking to him and giving him a big book and my number that first meeting. Watching the light come on in new people is what I live for.
Them GRANDBABIES SURE HELP ME IN MY RECOVERY they are like my second chance to make things right with my kids if that makes sense

That totally makes sense, I definitely feel the same way
It really is the little things. This is one of my favorite things my kids do or my hubby. Its just so loving.
