While i havent been craving a drink, i very much

Sounds like you may consider changing your half empty mindset.
Instead of saying “stress” from x, y, and z…..
It’s ALL about changing our attitude and unlearning most everything you’ve learned up until now. Stop labeling bad or good. We tend to always go to the negative.
You named everyday life stuff. What about losses? Death of family members and friends. Loss of relationships or jobs. Loss of health. Then add a husband, a couple of children, a home, job, and recovery. Then you really have life on life’s terms and practicing the steps staying sober.
So it’s very important from the get go that you get to the solution…. Get a good sponsor and work the steps. Your life depends on it.:heart_decoration:

Are you practicing gratitude? Just three things that you are grateful for each morning and night. Very simple, I think that pretty quickly it starts to put your head in a better place. Also, if you can get out and walk, even for 20 minutes, listen to Brene Brown, maybe Tony Robbins…I find them very motivating.

Also, realizer how far you have come. Congratulate yourself for doing things that most people haven’t accomplished or won’t even consider accomplishing.

I also love to think about how much my body is loving that I am not abusing it with alcohol. Our bodies are so forgiving.

Lastly, don’t beat yourself up for going through a slump. It happens. I know that it’s tough, but please be gentle and encouraging with yourself. You deserve it. :two_hearts::sparkles:

@jalene402956 I love you dearly my friend however a relapse is not necessarily going back to drinking and drugging. A relapse can come in many
