It will subside I promise! Coming from someone who unfortunately relapsed more than I would like to admit. The come down anxiety will pass just try and find something to keep you busy! Keep those feet moving! That seemed to help me keep my mind off of it!!! Eventually u will learn to navigate the anxiety

I like to explore all options other than AA. Yet I got criticized for it on here. I was fired from my job and unfortunately relapsed more than once. It’s been hard for me to handle. I’ve been connected to a substance abuse counselor from my psychiatrist so I’m feeling hopeful.

I get anxiety meds from my doctor. Hydroxyzine is what I take.

Wait until it leads to censures and demons that scream in your brain from 3am-7am keep reaching for help and embrace it. It can get so much worse if you don’t.
You can stay sober. The anxiety will mellow out. Avoid caffeine. Walk & burn off some of the excess energy. Drink chamomile tea. Listen to peaceful music. Meditate. Go to bed earlier & wake up earlier.
I've been sober for a year and a half. I've been doing great. Recently fell and broke my shoulder. It led me a road to depression but having a network of people that love me saved my life. So, no matter how hard it seems to pick up that phone and call someone!!
