What kind of work do you do?

I work in a juvenile detention center.

Been on graves for 6 years. It's just "my life" now! Makes being normal hard at times, but if you aren't in a groove, you'll find it, no worries. :grinning:

WOW! You must see a lot; young people seriously needing heroes in their lives.
What do you do there?

I have seen it all. Seriously… On grave shift I mostly just do room checks. Unless I’m on intakes. Thanks for asking! :relaxed:

Do you get to converse with any of them? It must be heartbreaking to see young people going the wrong way with no one to direct their paths at such a critical time in their lives. I mean, they are at the crossroads.

Yes! We absolutely can talk with them and build rapport. It helps for them to trust us.

Man, that is great! What a great contribution to the human race. I would love to check in with you from time to time and chat.

I'm married to a woman who I brought over here from the Philippines in 2019. She has 2 kids. One who has completed college and another who is starting.

I'm a truck driver/auto transporter with responsibilities who has had an unusual week. Just got home yesterday and start again Sun. I'm usually done on Thursdays.

Great chatting with you Carly.
It sounds like God is using you for a good purpose.
