You're not wrong. I think a lot of what I'm getting at is lost in my delivery.
I'll put it on my list of character defects and see if my coffee cup will remove them for me.

Whatever works for each.
Yo! Totally get that you have views that are different, which is totally cool and I dig that. I don’t believe in God either.
But, do you ever ask yourself why you find EVERY post on this app that has to do with god, religion, etc. and fully inject your views and opinions onto others on their posts? You probably already know this, but it’s the exact same approach that extremely conservative Christians do to non-believers with megaphones on the side of the street. Might want to dig into why you spend so much time doing that rather than cheering others on for their recovery.
Well, I can see where you're coming from, however I do much much more than what you have stated. The ONLY posts that I say anything regarding religion are the ones that are ONLY religious and not sobriety related in nature. Also, I constantly reach out to struggling people, to encourage or help out with resources regardless of their higher power status. I only care about recovery, and to me, alot of people avoid programs that might save their lives because of the pushiness of religion.
I don't eat meat. It's my business, I don't preach about it. When people at work ask me about it, I tell them. Cool. But I have had a couple people say things like "vegans are pushy". And I can see that some probably are. But let's look at the big picture just for one sec. When I drive home today, I will see at least 5 billboards that offer meat in some form, cheaply. If I go out to eat, then I have to ask them to remove the bacon and steak and chicken etc from the salad, but that is never reflected in the price. At a fast food place, thsalads are always thrice the cost of a hamburger. At work functions I have to order ahead and 9 out of 10 times they forget and then I'm asked "can you eat meat just this one time?". This is the same scenario with religion in my opinion.
Understood. Well, just food for thought - I’ve counted (seen) at least 6 times you’ve gone in on other peoples’ beliefs. You weren’t tagged in the post. They didn’t call out satanists. You jumped in unsolicited to tell them that they were wrong. Might just be helpful to ask yourself why you fee such a strong need to do so. If you don’t agree with someone’s personal view AND they aren’t attacking someone else, why not just… not comment?
Nonetheless, I hope your recovery is going amazing. Sometimes the best thing we can do is to sit on the sidelines and allow others to go along their journey.
I don't wanna bore every one anymore with this, but I don't think I have ever told someone what they believed was totally wrong. That seems like a very simplified summation. I don't roll like that unless it's some blatant lie that someone is trying to pass of as fact. The only thing I consistently say is when someone "gives glory to God" for their sobriety, I ALWAYS tell them good job on all the hard work THEY put in to remain sober. I think a lot of believers forget that part and are shamed into believing they aren't worthy of the little crumbs their God gives them, which is sad to me. If you're taught that you are inherently a piece of garbage, why ever change? When I was a junkie, it was easy to justify staying that way because everyone expected it from me. In my junkie mind, it made sense, "why change?"
