#8, Mage, wins the 2023 Kentucky Derby. Would have loved to bet.
8 is my number.
Always felt like I played poorly 
if I didn’t wear #8.
Had my superstitions, left leg first, left sock, left shin guard, left shoe…even laced my boots a certain way.
Wanted to ride 
today.
Looks like it’s supposed to rain.
Rode 32 miles in the rain once during The Tour de Cure, for diabetes.
That was an experience.
The last 32 miles were hot and humid but at least they were dry.
It was raining the night I was hit riding my bike from Sysco to the apartment, 9/11/18 at 8:30PM.
And my life has been getting better ever since.
