•Meeting an old acquaintance in class yesterday. Might be on the way to a new friendship.
•Any point in time I can restart my day. I now have the tools to do that.
•Barkley just came and fetched me from the other room so I would sit on the couch by him like we normally do.
•Attention is the quality of our mind that simply focuses our awareness. Learning to direct my attention inward is challenging but illuminating.
•Currently watching Barkley lick himself. I’m grateful for showers because yuck.
•I don’t have to know how or why the program works in order for it to work. All I have to do is show up, clean house, and help others.
•Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today.
•OrangeTheory. A fitness routine has really done wonders for my health overall, but specifically for my mental health and my thought-life.
•I’m grateful I have two working eyes that allow me to see all the beauty in the world.
•YOU. Thank you for being a part of my recovery.
