The gratitude continues!!
•I’m grateful for my sobriety. I never thought it would be possible for me to live a happy, sober life, and yet, two years in, I’ve never been more content.
•I’m grateful for all the love and support I’ve received these past two years. My disease told me I was all alone, and for the longest time, I believed it.
•I’m grateful to have friends and family who want me in their lives.
•I’m grateful for two beautiful dogs who think the world of me and show me through unconditional love.
•I’m grateful to be able to help others in their journeys to recovery. Having a purpose nourishes my spirit.
•Sobriety has dramatically transformed my life from what it was two years ago, giving me the courage to embrace and overcome new challenges. I'm grateful to AA for teaching me how to truly live.
•I’m grateful for a fun family game night with my dad and sisters last night.
•When my dad hugged me last night, he told me, “You got big!” which stoked my ego a little bit and made me smile.
•Norman has started using his paw like someone would use their hand and waving at me when he wants my attention.
•I have a God in my life, and while I don’t understand, I have come to believe.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray that this attitude will make me truly humble.
