The gratitude continues!!
•I get to see a friend pick up his one-year chip this morning at the 9:30 meeting.
•I love my body and accept its limitations and imperfections.
•Norman is constantly panting like a lunatic, and it’s pretty endearing. I love that both of my dogs have such distinct personalities.
•The cookies at the meeting last night were top-notch. This cup of coffee this morning is, too. I’m grateful to be able to taste and enjoy what I eat and drink.
•I'm grateful for today's freedom to do as I please, including spending time with my dogs, in AA, with my mom and Tom, and some quality time alone.
•I haven’t needed alcohol or drugs to have fun or to feel okay in a very long time.
•I’m grateful for that little boost of confidence that comes with a fresh haircut.
•My continued personal growth is about being more rather than having more. I can live simply and still feel abundant.
•I’m grateful for AA showing me how to connect with my Higher Power. I’m grateful that belief doesn’t require understanding.
•I can be trusted again. I believe in myself again.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude may make me truly humble.
