The gratitude continues!!
•My Friday night coffee/meeting/Thai food routine has become a staple of my schedule and is something I genuinely look forward to all week.
•I have no significant commitments this weekend and can spend my time as I see fit.
•I’ve been struggling to “get there” in my meditations recently, but this morning, I could, for the first time in a couple of weeks.
•I’m grateful for quiet, calm Arizona mornings.
•I’m grateful for the moments when Norman is tired and/or calm. I know Barkley is, too.
•I’m grateful for the moments when I can accurately articulate to newcomers what my journey in sobriety has been like.
•I’m blessed to have several guys who trust me to guide them through the steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
•In AA, I’ve found genuine friends who love, understand, and are eager to help me discover my true self.
•I’ve learned to enjoy life on life’s terms. I can take things as they come (usually slowly) and not hurry.
•I’m grateful I stayed and didn’t leave before the miracles started to happen.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude will make me truly humble.
