The gratitude continues!!
•While I didn’t sleep as long as I would have liked, my sleep quality was good, and I woke up excited to live another sober day.
•Hanging out with family and friends last night was a lot of fun. I’m so grateful for all the wonderful people in my life.
•I was able to be completely present and not drift off into worry or morbid reflection.
•Norman had a puppy play date yesterday, and it’s always fun to see him so happy. I’m grateful that both my dogs are so kind and loving.
•I feel like my skin fits. My emotions and reactions to life are right-sized. I am content.
•The universe is conspiring for my greatest good. I know I am blessed and protected.
•My new battery-powered vacuum is very handy, and my floors are mostly free from dog hair this morning.
•I’m grateful that AA has shown me that my past wasn’t a waste and is, in fact, one of the greatest assets I have.
•I’m grateful that I can show up for all my various roles in life. I can be a good son, brother, friend, sponsor, employee, and dog dad.
•I value my sobriety more than anything.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude may make me truly humble.
