The gratitude continues!!
•Nearly two years into sobriety, I've reclaimed my office for studying. It feels good to finally reclaim every area of my house that I associated with old memories.
•I landed an interview with a company I’m interested in working with.
•My networking efforts are paying off. I have an informational phone call scheduled with a P&G employee who works in the primary role I’m currently pursuing.
•I never imagined life could be as good as it is today, and I know I’m still practically at base camp.
•I put on 8.4 lbs of muscle last year. Not as much as I was hoping, but enough to completely change the way I feel about my body.
•Norman is healthy regardless of all the shıt (literally and figuratively) that he eats.
•Barkley is still my healthy, unproblematic king after all these years.
•I’m grateful that I can still remember what it felt like to be completely hopeless.
•Sobriety gives everything chemicals promised.
•It’s incredibly comforting knowing that I’m not expected to solve all the world's problems. Or even all my own problems for that matter.
Thank you for my life.
