1 year!! HAPPY 1 YEAR SOBERVERSARY TO ME! Never in a million years did I expect I would be celebrating such a milestone! The first picture is of me now Truly happy. The second picture is when I drank everyday, my face looks awful, I was frumpy, I was never truly happy, but always pretended to be! I gained true friendships this year, people who actually check in on me and see how I am doing. Not everyone understands the reasons I became sober, you don't need to know, true friends are the ones who check in and care, not the ones who act like you're annoying for it. I am over the moon proud of myself for this achievement!
