Looking back at my journey through sobriety, I've learned a lot, especially what not to do. I went to my first meeting in 2019 and found something I wanted but couldn't do. After 5 and a half years I'd had enough pain from just trying. I put in the work and got involved in my recovery. And it's been the most beautiful year of my life. There were hard times, of course. But I got through them sober thanks to my program and the people in it. So to anyone still questioning if they can do it, I promise you can. Just have a tiny bit of faith, a good bit of determination, and a willingness to try. Much love from a grateful sober aa in nc
