Today is a great day to practice gratitude.
•21 months of continuous sobriety (including nights and weekends).
•When the universe presents me with uncertainty, I know it’s really just a Step 3 exercise.
•No matter what happens with my car (currently not charging), I know I will be okay.
•I don’t leave my house much anyway.
•Lyft and Uber are available if I need them.
•Barkley still has a lot of bounce in his step for an old man.
•Even though my brain still tells me that every emotion I ever feel is forever, I know that’s untrue.
•I have a kit of spiritual tools that make it easier to live life on life’s terms.
•Someone left a bag of blueberry muffins for me at work, and I have enough willpower not to eat them all.
•I have everything I need and most of the things I want.
Thank you for my life.
