This is from a few days ago, so I’m now at 1003 days. My ex-boyfriend once made fun of my counter and said, “Yeah, you’re sober, but who’s counting?”
I AM. And now he’s my ex.

Fantastic news. And probably the smartest move we can make is getting rid of our relationships in early sobriety. It's complicated enough trying to figure ourselves out without having to contribute to a relationship. One day but not in early sobriety.
I speak from much experience when I tell you this.

I can actually relate to that. My baby dad said the same thing. Now I'm sober, he's still using and yes he is my ex.
