-I’m a mom to an adult….
Honestly, she is everything I wish I would have been in an 18 yr old. Wise, strong, secure in her beliefs, knows how to express emotions, she’s an incredible human being.
-Learning where I still have inner work that needs to be done. I always want to be a person constantly finding better versions of myself, yet fully loving the person I am at the same time. I welcome the new experiences that teach me where to grow.
- The work weekend, my hours are crazy, the days are long, the work is hard, but I wouldn’t change it right now. It provides for my kids, it creates the closest resemblance to me still being a stay at home mom as I can have, now that I’m a single mom. So, in the moments I regret not using my degree, I remind myself I’m fulfilling my duty, I’m choosing peace for my family over ego, I’m choosing time with my children which is clearly fleeting, and what I’m doing is enough.
