Today, I’m choosing to focus on gratitude.
•When I wake up in the morning, both dogs get on the bed and show me love.
•Seeing familiar faces at detox serves to remind me that I’m not immune from my disease. I’m in remission, and my reprieve is granted daily based on my spiritual condition.
•I’m learning to be more gentle with myself.
•I absolutely demolished my opponent in fantasy football this week.
•It’s been a long time since AA has felt like a chore.
•My life has a nice rhythm to it, and it’s been a while since I’ve craved chaos.
•I look forward to the gym, even on leg day.
•I’m very grateful that I don’t have any kids. I think I’d rather just have dogs.
•Hoodie weather is right around the corner.
•Currently, my most problematic vice is sugar. I see that as a reflection of how much more manageable my life has become since I’ve let God into it.
Thank you for my life.
