MJ you show how phenomenal the 12 steps are! None of us can get here without being thoroughly convinced we Have No Way out..and see a glimmer of hope in our program.
I have one question though. Did you talk to the hopeless guy? Your story might not have helped him today..but when we care enough to sit with a broken person, even though they may not yet be ready..our words and kindness stick.
You truly have a story that will touch people. Especially of you pull out that photo! Whew I'm glad you made it out alive!

Congratulations brother! I’m so grateful for you and the help you’ve provided me in my recovery! Because you decided to make a change it helped me continue my recovery journey while we all were in a crazy pandemic! Those three words every time I read them I cry. They are the hardest words to say but like you, I did the same thing, I asked for help. I did the the work. I continue to do the work. And helping others is what I was born to do. From building your dream home, kitchen or bathroom to guiding you through your 12 step journey and for that I am responsible.
