Today, I woke up in gratitude.
•I am at peace. Life no longer feels intimidating.
•I was blessed to have many phone calls with other alcoholics yesterday.
•Norman didn’t have any accidents last night, which leads me to believe that changing his diet ended The Great Holiday Pōop Skirmish.
•I am more confident than ever that God will care for me, provided I continue to try to align my will with his.
•For maybe the first time in my life, I'd rather be myself than anyone else.
•Today, it is my turn to hold out my hand, with love, to my fellow alcoholics and to show them the way to happiness.
•I bought a new book on using Step 10 to work Steps 6 and 7. I’m grateful to have the resources to continue to grow in the program.
•I’m able to dream about my future again.
•I’m grateful for a body and mind free from any untreated disease or defect.
•I may not have the power to change many events in the physical world, but I can achieve peace by reframing my attitude towards them.
Thank you for my life.
