No matter what, there are always plenty of reasons for me to be grateful.
•I slept in for the first time in months.
•Norman has such a fun and spunky personality. He’s been such a special addition to my house.
•An intro call with a new therapist confirmed some things I’ve been thinking about and brought me a good bit of relief.
•I’m very grateful for all the people supporting me during my job search — mentors, family, friends, coworkers, and yes, even the dogs.
•As a recovered alcoholic, I have an incredible opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the world.
•My experience has shown me that tough days are temporary. Staying committed to my program ensures that.
•Life has only ever presented me with what I can handle.
•I had the chance to seriously focus on my recovery and gradually re-engage with the world, a blessing I recognize not many have the opportunity to experience.
•Even though he’s limping, Norman doesn’t seem to be in any pain.
•The promises have come true for me. I am happy, joyous, and free. I have been placed in a position of neutrality.
Thank you for my life.
