Hi. I'm new here. I'm also fairly newly back in 12 step recovery after some #dv and in an entirely new state due to having to relocate... at a temporary address with a friend but am scrambling to find supports, and meetings/ sponsorship/12 step call/ SOMETHING to pls help me beyond online meetings and what literature I could carry with me. Anyone in my area, I am in need of safe transport to a meeting or any RECOVERY support.
No handouts or pity wanted, or needed, I'm doing my best to pick my *ss up and get it into the right place. I was in service for ages, I know how it should work....
I left my other #dv situation on Easter morning, have been thru...hades... getting out and relocating, and have a need to be safe among MY ppl for a short while, or where possible, at meetings and in conversation.
I placed this same request elsewhere and got no response for over 2 days. I'm trying you now... this has been a daily search&commitment.
Hoping for an actual response here.

Hello Anne, you came to a grateful place...you get yo as many meetings and work the steps abd get a sponsor abd meet lots of new faces avd ask for numbers. But mske no mistake about it. God does not want you to drink or use. There is not one thing using and drinking will help. Other than wrecking your life. One moment and one day at a time)
