Most of us all in recovery at one time or another have felt where you’re at. Nothing is worth dying over. Nothing! Just keep reaching out. People got your back bro. Can’t hurt talking about what’s going on. Just don’t use and life is gonna get better. Bumps in the road always happen in life. Others will help you through this. Do what Dee said if you need someone right away. Hang in there.
Hey Jimmy! Do you want to talk now? I can set up a private zoom. We are here for you brother.
Hi Jimmy, congratulations on 13 months. I highly suggest reaching out to a mental health professional about the suicide ideation. This can be dangerous, and it’s important to get ahead of it. If you have health insurance contact your insurance company to find a therapist, if you don’t, contact the county or city health office and they should be able to point you in the right direction. I have struggled with suicide ideation for most of my life due to by bipolar, but the moment I start having those thoughts I reach out because you need to break the cycle of thinking. Good luck!
